Brief Description of Reason for Stay:

“At the time it was hard to find a job and sustainable income. I didn’t feel like I had the right resources to better my life. I was having health problems, in and out of the hospital and this was the place that I thought I would be able to settle down and figure out my next steps.”

Testimonial of the Effect of PVH

“After one year of staying at the PVH, I was employed as maintenance staff, giving me the confidence to achieve everything that I wanted. I’m currently employed full-time, enrolled in college courses towards a degree in Computer Science, and have established a home of my own that I am able to sustain. My stay here made a real difference in my life. I had nothing when I entered the program and now I can honestly say that I have friends and a new extended family that has supported me and given me the strength I need to get to where I am today. It’s the people that are here, that are changing lives and deserve the support of the community.”
